Rabbit Yard

I've been planning all summer to build an outdoor cage for the rabbit, Sophie. We finally got it done today! Took a few hours, but the weather was not too hot and beautiful for working outside.

We started by digging a trench about 6 inches deep. Then we stuck the posts in the corners and sides. Then we attached the wire to the posts. This was a little tricky! Next we attached chicken-wire to the inside, so the rabbit can't slip out and other vermin can't get in to harm the bunny. After attaching a door made from the fence wire, we put the tarp over the top. I think we'll have to get a bigger tarp, so owls and roving cats can't get in.
