We had a day in Manaus between traveling in and going out on the Amazon tour. Jim walked to a nearby grocery store to find food for the day and was helped by a customer who spoke English. It was a very small, local shop to serve the immediate neighborhood. I got breakfast made, and we figured out how to use the washing machine. Jim and the kids find the playground in the apartment complex we're staying at, Olivia and I organize the things we need to bring into the Amazon. After dinner it's early to bed. Big day tomorrow!
