Brazil #4 Iguacu Falls

August 3

Today we went to Parque National do Iguacu to see Iguacu Falls. A fabulous lunch. Swarms of butterflies. And a genuine natural wonder. We were able to walk out amidst the falls for some breathtaking views. We chose to walk the path along the edge of the cliff in hopes of seeing wildlife. A few lizards and a lot of butterflies, but nothing else. After all the warnings not to feed the coatis, I was a little disappointed to not see one. Even so, it was a great day. We finished off with another night swim and a movie snuggle.

Audrey was really sad she hadn't been able to get a butterfly to land on her. Then this tiny white one (below) stayed with her for some time.

Audrey's butterfly stayed with her on the bus ride back to our car.
